Interactive 3D house configurator
As part of a series of demonstration solutions for the construction and development industries, the AVADA MEDIA team developed a demo project for an interactive online house configurator.
This project demonstrates how a modern browser-based 3D house constructor can work, allowing the user to change the building's appearance in real time, select materials and structural elements, and immediately see the result as an interactive 3D model.
The configurator allows you to explore the house's architecture from all angles, change exterior parameters, and explore the building's interior.
This solution can be integrated into the websites of construction companies, frame house manufacturers, cottage village developers, or real estate sales platforms.

From a 3D model to a real house
All our demo configurators can also be supplemented with an AI module for generating photorealistic visualizations.
After creating a house configuration, the user can call an AI assistant, which will generate a realistic rendering of the building in its surroundings – for example, in a forest, on a plot of land, or in a cottage community.
AI takes into account:
- lighting
- facade materials
- roof type
- surrounding landscape
As a result, the user receives the most realistic representation of how the selected house will look in a real environment.
What does this demo project demonstrate?
The demo implements the basic functionality of the interactive house configurator.
The user can change various building parameters:
- change the configuration of awnings and terraces
- choose the type of wood and facade materials
- change the color of the roof
- turn furniture and interior elements on or off
- explore the architecture of the house from all sides
An interactive system of navigation points allows you to move around the scene and explore the house from different angles.
The user can:
- rotate the 3D model of the house 360°
- zoom in on architectural elements
- go inside the building
- look at a house from the back, side, or front
- explore the interior of the premises
- switch between different house configurations
Interactive exploration of architecture
A unique feature of the demo project is a system of navigation points that allows the user to navigate around the house model.
By clicking on the interactive dots you can:
- enter the house
- view the interior of the premises
- examine the building's structure from the rear
- switch between different areas of the building
- explore the project's architecture as a virtual tour
This approach significantly increases user engagement and helps clients better understand the architecture of their future house.
