3D Kitchen Configurator Vision
As part of a series of demonstration solutions for the furniture industry, the AVADA MEDIA team has developed a new demo project for an interactive online kitchen space configurator.
This project demonstrates how a modern browser-based 3D kitchen configurator can work. Users can configure kitchen cabinets in real time, select materials and colors, and immediately see the result as an interactive 3D model.
This solution can be integrated into kitchen manufacturer websites, online furniture stores, or digital sales platforms.
Technological implementation
The demo configurator is implemented on a modern web stack, which ensures high performance and scalability of the system.
Key technologies:
- Three.js / WebGL – interactive 3D visualization in the browser without installing additional software
- JavaScript – logic for changing kitchen parameters and configuration calculation module
- HTML/CSS – interface and user interaction elements
The solution's architecture allows for the expansion of the system's functionality: connecting material catalogs, cost calculation modules, and integration with CRM, ERP, and e-commerce systems.
From 3D model to real interior
All our demo configurators are complemented by an AI module for generating photorealistic interiors.
After creating your kitchen in the 3D configurator, you can call the AI assistant, which will generate a realistic rendering showing how your chosen kitchen will look in a real interior. The AI takes into account lighting, materials, and space, creating the most realistic visualization possible.
What does this demo project demonstrate?
The demo implements the basic functionality of the interactive kitchen configurator:
- changing the configuration of kitchen modules;
- adding and removing individual design elements;
- choice of color for facades and countertops;
- choice of wood type for some elements;
- automatic cost calculation.
The user can:
- rotate the 3D kitchen model 360°
- zoom in on individual elements
- change kitchen parameters in real time
- Download a PDF with the specifications for the selected kitchen
- generate kitchen interior renderings
- evaluate the ergonomics and layout of modules
This format allows customers to design their own kitchen, which significantly increases user engagement and sales conversion.
